There’s anther Baldwin headed to NBC. The network announced today that William Baldwin is set to guest star in Parenthood, which is scheduled to return in the fall.
Baldwin’s no stranger to the small screen. In addition to starring in Dirty Sexy Money, he had a recurring role on The CW’s Gossip Girl. NBC states that he’ll be guest-starring on Parenthood over a multi-episode arc. Below are the details they released on the role he’ll be playing:
Baldwin will be playing Gordon Flint, Adam’s (Peter Krause) wealthy, charismatic boss. Gordon is content to let Adam do the grunt work of running the company, preferring to spend his time thinking about the “big picture.” A dedicated bachelor, Gordon’s romantic life is the polar opposite to Adam’s relationship with Kristina (Monica Potter). Gordon brings tension to the Braverman clan when he sets his sights on Adam’s sister, Sarah (Lauren Graham).
Random trivia: This will make the third notable Baldwin on NBC’s current line-up. William’s brother Alec stars in the popular comedy 30 Rock, while Adam Baldwin (no relation to the other mentioned Baldwins) stars in Chuck.
