There's a new deal currently going on where if you buy a PlayStation 4 you'll get the PlayStation Camera along with it... for free. That's right, you won't have to pay a dime to get your hands on the very popular PlayStation Camera that's been selling like crazy ever since the original release of the PS4.
The deal comes courtesy of Best Buy. Eligible items will guarantee you free access to the PlayStation Camera when you proceed to the checkout. As mentioned on the Bestbuy promo page...
“When you purchase a select PlayStation 4 console, a free PlayStation Camera (a $59.99 value) will be added to your cart automatically. Plus both items ship for free.”
The three items that are eligible for the deal includes variously priced renditions of the PS4. One of the items include the PlayStation 4 500GB bundle that comes packed in with The Last of Us: Remastered for $399.99. The other item is the PlayStation 4 500GB unit that comes with one DualShock 4 controller for $399.99. In all honesty, between the two PS4 units there's absolutely no reason at all why you would want to go with the standalone PS4 unit when you can get the bundle with The Last of Us: Remastered for the exact same price. The only reason you might want to go with the standalone unit is if the Last of Us: Remastered bundle is all sold out.
The third and last item eligible for the promo is the the PS4 bundle with the PlayStation Plus 12-month membership card. This bundle goes for $444.98... surprisingly enough it's $5 off the regular price of $449.98. This one here is kind expensive because you only get the PS Plus card as opposed to a complete and whole game with the Last of Us bundle. I mean, I guess an argument could be made that getting the 12-months of PS Plus grants you eligibility to a ton of free games for the PlayStation 4 and other Sony platforms. The free games kind of make up for the extra $44 price hike compared to the other bundle. The gamer in me, however, still seems inclined to believe that getting a free Naughty Dog game is the better way about it, and then maybe pick up a cheap PS Plus card from some place like G2A.com or eBay.
Anyway, if any of the three PlayStation 4 items have attracted you to the console you can pick up one of the three above and instantly gain eligibility to add the PlayStation Camera to the basket free of charge. And, as mentioned, you won't have to pay any shipping or handling.
Be wary that this offer doesn't stand if you try to pull a fast one and add a PS4 bundle to the cart, add in the PlayStation Camera and then attempt to remove the PS4 just to get a free camera. On the terms and conditions page, it's stated...
“Savings will be reflected in your cart when all offer requirements are met. If you remove any of the qualifying items from your cart or cancel all or part of your order, you will not receive the promotional savings.”
