A new gameplay trailer from Digital Extremes and 2K Games has surfaced for the upcoming first-person horror shooter, The Darkness II. The trailer basically consists of tentacles ripping people to shreds, including the dreaded assecution.

The Darkness II features hitman Jackie Estacado as he embraces the possession of the darkness…an ancient curse that takes a host and basically goes around wrecking havoc. In the previous game Jackie had to cut ties with his former mob family after they tried to kill him and eventually wrecked a vengeful havoc on anyone who got in his way. The second game picks up a few years later where Jackie is once again thrust into mob warfare, only this time he has a few extra tricks up his sleeve…including assecutions.



I just can’t get over that…having the insides of your butt ripped out from between your legs. That's such a humiliating way to die. It’s like worse than being prison raped. That’s like…some hentai stuff right there. And I thought having your brains blown out through your butt was bad, as depicted in the movie Mind Game, but I really think assecution takes the cake.

Anyway, you can look for The Darkness II to become available for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on February 7th in North America and February 10th in Europe, 2012. For more information on assecutions, be sure to visit the Official Website.
