Last week we brought you the news that the tower defense, zombie-survival action game, Dead Block, was arriving for the Xbox Live Arcade in early July. Well, Digital Reality and Candygun Games has confirmed that the PSN release date is set a few weeks after it arrives for XBLA.

Balazs Horvath, Director of Publishing of Digital Reality commented in the press release, saying…

“We’re a huge fan of zombies, but we’re even bigger fans of finding the most creative ways of disposing of the undead buggers,” … “Dead Block has been a dream project of ours, and we’re elated to finally unleash it upon the world.”

The game sees players in control of some unlikely defenders against a zombie horde, using all kinds of tricks, traps and devices to thwart off a throng of the undead during the golden age of the 1950s.

Dead Block also sports four-player cooperative so you and a few friends can defend against zombies together. The game is set for release on the Xbox 360 for 800 MS Points while it will be available on the PlayStation 3 for only $9.99.
