With the final match of the World Cup just days away, this seems look a good time for someone to announce news about a soccer video game. Sure enough, that's what EA's doing today.

EA revealed that FIFA Soccer 11 will make its debut on September 28th. That's the day it arrives on the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PS2, DS, PSP and mobile phones in North America. The Wii version is due on October 4th. All versions will be available in Europe and Asia on October 1st.

Some of the features that have been revealed for FIFA 11 thus far include custom soundtracks, a new character attribute system, and reworked passing controls.
