After months and months of rumors and leaks, Sony has finally admitted that the PS3 Slim exists. The lighter, slimmer version of the PlayStation 3 will be released to stores in September.
The tiny black box is said to be 32% smaller, 36% lighter and consume 34% less power. It will use a 120 GB hard drive and cost $299 in the States and 299 euros in Europe. The current PS3 model will be dropped to the same price tomorrow.
The exact release date will vary based on country. However, it will be available during the week of September 1st which is not far away at all.
