Epic Games' Cliff Bleszinski isn't a fan of the constant gossip about Gears of War coming to the PS3. In a new interview, he was determined to kill the rumors with fire.

"I would say in the foreseeable future there’s zero chances of Gears of War being on the PlayStation 3," Bleszinski told IndustryGamers. "Can we bury that now? Seriously. It’s like, we have a great deal with Microsoft, they’re a great partner..."

Will this kill the rumors? Probably not. The Gears intellectual property is owned by Epic Games rather than Microsoft so they'll always at least have the ability to release the games on a different console, even if they don't have the desire to do so.

Gears of War 3 will arrive on the Xbox 360 on September 20th.
