Kung-Fu Strike Debut Gameplay Trailer Opens Up A Can Of Kick-Butt
It's not often that a smaller budget fighting game punches and spin-kicks its way onto the scene and leaves a lasting impression, however with Qooc Soft and 7Sixty's upcoming 3D fighting game, Kung-Fu Strike: The Warrior's Rise, this game looks like it breaks all sorts of trends and the trailer shows off some radical looking gameplay.
First off, the combos in this game are off the hook. There's a measure of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi meets the latest Mortal Kombat, where consistent combos and air-juggles are seamlessly blended together with dazzling martial arts action. What's more is that there are some impressive looking counter-blocks and counter-combos executed by the player character and the enemies so that there's a nice balance between pulling off combos and being able to defend against them.
I'm not going to prattle on and on about how cool the game looks to be a digital-download only title but I'll let the gameplay trailer below do all the talking.
Looked rad, eh? I'm very impressed with what Qooc Soft and 7Sixty have been working on....very impressed. The game seems to be coming together quite nicely.
You can look for Kung-Fu Strike: The Warrior's Rise to land on the Xbox 360 very soon, for more info feel free to pay a visit to the game's Official Website.
