Take-Two Interactive has announced the street dates for Mafia II. The open-world mobster game will slip into stores right before the end of the summer.

Mafia II hits North American stores on August 24th. It'll arrive everywhere else on August 27th. Those dates apply to the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC versions.

The general public will get their first chance to play Mafia II at the gaming convention PAX East. The convention begins on Friday, March 26th and runs until the 28th.
