Mass Effect 2 Will Debut At GDC 09

The highly anticipated sequel to BioWare's sci-fi RPG Mass Effect is set for an unveiling. Mass Effect 2 is the subject of a presentation by BioWare at this year's Game Developers Conference.

No exact date has been set for the presentation, which is entitled "The Iterative Level Design Process of Bioware's MASS EFFECT 2." The Game Developers Conference takes place from March 23rd to March 27th so it's somewhere in that range.

According to the GDC website, "This session examines the BioWare Mass Effect team’s new level-creation process, which is focused on maximizing iteration for quality while minimizing rework and cost." So yeah, not expecting a glossy trailer or luscious shots of alien side-boob but hey, it'd be the first look (as far as we know) of the game. We'll see if BioWare and EA decide to release anything about the game to the public before then.
