It’s no lie, there are Street Fighter characters in Mega Man Universe and it makes absolutely no sense to me. The new PAX trailer for Mega Man Universe clears up all the confusion…sort of, and then throws in an extra twist at the end.

Mega Man’s creator talks briefly about people not understanding Mega Man Universe with the original teaser trailer that they released, and so it was decided that they would release another teaser trailer that better showcased the gameplay. Well, that aspect was cleared up rather well with some 3D visuals in a classic 2D Mega Man environment…and then Ryu shows up.

The “WTF?!” factor sort of blows through the roof after Ryu appears, and at that point people who were confused about Mega Man Universe will be doubly confused.
