Hothead Games has announced that the second episode of the Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness episodic RPG series has gone gold and will be available this fall on Xbox Live, Greenhouse, and Steam - and slightly later on PSN.

Episode Two will continue the adventures of Penny Arcade web comic characters Tycho and Gabe as they unravel a mystery in the steampunk city of New Arcadia. Players will be able to import their character from Episode One or, if they're new to the series, create a brand new one. Episode Two is the second installment in a planned four-episode arc.

For those of you who unhappy about the $20 price tag on Episode One, take note: Episode Two will only cost $15 (1200 Microsoft Points). They released a trailer for Episode Two weeks (or months?) ago, which we're finally posting now that there's some news to go along with the footage. Enjoy.
