RAGE Anarchy Edition Offered To Pre-Order Customers

If you've already thrown down money for post-apocalyptic shooter RAGE, you will be rewarded for your faith. Publisher Bethesda says that pre-ordering through select retailers will get you an automatic upgrade to the Anarchy Edition of the game.

The RAGE Anarchy Edition provides you with four exclusive in-game items. You'll get a double barrel shotgun, Crimson Elite Armor, Fists of RAGE (spiked brass knuckles, basically) and a car dubbed the "Rat Rod Buggy." A picture of these items is below.

To get these bonuses in US or Canada, you have to place your order with GameStop, Amazon.com, Steam, or Direct2Drive. Steam and Direct2Drive are, of course, PC game stores so it looks like this Anarchy Edition is being offered for all versions of the game. The participating retailers in Europe have yet to be disclosed.

RAGE will hit North America on September 13th. The European and Australian release will follow on the 16th.
