Sleeping Dogs Trailer Shows Gamers How To Learn Kung-Fu
United Front Games released a new trailer for Sleeping Dogs featuring the game's in-depth combat mechanics and martial arts action. The trailer also details how gamers can head to a loco dojo to learn some new kung-fu tricks.
In the first two games, True Crime: Streets of L.A. and True Crime: New York, you could also visit various locations and also learn new moves, counters and specials by completing mini-games. It's not clear if you'll learn extra fighting moves like boxing, wrestling or Tae-Kwon Do the way you could in the previous games but they do acknowledge that you can advance your technique. You can check out the video below, which also shows off plenty of fatalities, hair-burning kill moves and shaft-stuffing throws.
I'm really looking forward to this game so long as it's a polished pile of action-fandom with plenty of replayable content. So far it's shaping up to be an interesting entry to this year's mega-line-up of blockbuster titles. Especially with so many first-person shooters on the horizon, it's nice to know we have an open-world title tossed into the mix.
The game has more than just martial arts and pseudo-Mortal Kombat fatalities to play around with, though. There's also racing, car chases, lots of Hong Kong action-movie style gunplay sequences and a griping story about an undercover cop off into the deep-end of the Chinese mafia.
You can learn more about the game or take an opportunity to pre-order by paying a visit to the Official Website.
