Tron Legacy, the upcoming sequel to the 1982 sci-fi film Tron, will have something in common with its predecessor besides Jeff Bridges: it's going to get a video game adaptations.

Unlike Tron video game, though, it probably won't be released for Intellivision. Legacy producer Steven Lisberger told Latino Review that the video game tie-in is currently under development at Disney Interactive. It's not clear what systems it will be released for or what the gameplay will be like, though. I would imagine you'll be riding a light cycle at some point, though.

Tron Legacy hits theaters on December 17th, 2010. Like most film-to-game adaptations, the Legacy game will probably arrive around the same time.
