A new, slightly more affordable gaming mouse has been announced for PC gamers and it's called the Logitech G300. The new mouse features nine, yes nine, programmable controls allowing gamers to move keyboard commands onto the mouse.
The very concept of being able to utilize keyboard commands on a mouse while playing a shooter or MMO seems a little insane, and potentially borderline cheating. I mean, take into account that you have your heal-spell and your run-buff attached to the single press of a mouse button? You’ll be able to heal-up and dash out of a PvP fight faster than a bum trapped in a bathroom stall with Kimbo Slice. Chris Pate, senior manager of product marketing for gaming at Logitech commented in the press release about the slightly-borderline-cheating gaming mouse, saying… “The Logitech Gaming Mouse G300 is perfect for PC gamers who want intelligent features that give them real benefits in-game” ... “Whether you need more programmable buttons for your MMO, better precision for targeting enemies in an FPS, or a compact, comfortable shape to get you through hours of gameplay, we’ve got it covered.”I’m sure if you use this mouse while playing APB: Reloaded you’ll have plenty of people yelling “Aimbotter!”, given the 2500-DPI optical sensor that works on a number of different surfaces and tracks both slow and fast movements for pinpoint precision movements. Additional software also comes with the mouse to enable gamers to easily drag-‘n-drop all the key combinations required to turn the G300 mouse into one mean, epic killing machine. The G300 is set for release this September for $49.99. You can learn more about Logitech’s other products by paying a visit to the Official Website. |
