Respawn Entertainment has announced that they're still supporting Titanfall 2, even after being railroaded from success due to the close-quarter release next to Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Their next big content drop includes a new map and a free trial.

The new year is upon us and, with it, the team at Respawn Entertainment is primed to launch the first big content update of 2017 for Titanfall 2. Oddly, the titular Titans have nothing to do with this latest update. 
Respawn Entertainment is following through with their promise of free DLC for Titanfall 2. It's part of the new business model to keep the community strong and enforce gamers to join in on the fun without feeling left out. The DLC will even be here before you know it. 
Respawn Entertainment's Titanfall 2 hasn't been faring too well on the market given the cannibalization taking place at the hands of Battlefield 1, but that doesn't mean it's a bad game. In fact, the Honest Trailer for the Titanfall franchise lays out a lot of the reasons why some are considering it to be an underrated gem. 
Titanfall 2 is finally out in the wild, with players hopping into mechs and blasting through the game's campaign and online modes. For some folks who ordered the game's Vanguard edition, though, the only game they're playing right now is "the waiting game." 
Some of Electronic Arts' press materials for their E3-oriented EA Play live-stream managed to leak ahead of schedule. The rehearsals was made live and some of the assets were leaked, revealing some details about Titanfall 2 and some of the new Titans players will control in the game. 
My friend was an avid Battlefield player, pouring hundreds of dollars into that game, along with his many other games on his EA Origin account. But his Origin account was hacked, and the worst of it all was the hacker installed the app authenticator on his account so there is absolutely no way he can get back into it—and getting EA’s help was a nightmare at first. 
The McFarlane Toy line, headed up by comic book and action figure maestro Todd McFarlane, will be in charge of constructing the action figures for Titanfall 2. According to McFarlane Toys the figures and game will release in the winter of 2016. 
Details on Titanfall 2's campaign mode have been revealed and this comes with the news that they're also developing a TV series around the game. The campaign mode will be “gritty” and “dirty” and “human” and it will help flesh out the world around the game's lore, science and a little bit of the magic that makes it all tick. 
Respawn Entertainment is probably best known for two things: that they are the offspring of the original Infinity Ward team that made Call of Duty the billion dollar franchise that it is. And that they made Titanfall. They may be adding a third trait to their list now that they're working on a brand new third-person shooter. The mystery title has no name... yet. 
Bizarrely enough, this year we've seen several popular AAA shooters being transformed into free-to-play options. Titanfall is the next on the list with EA having partnered with Nexon to create a special free-to-play version of the shooter to appeal to the Asian market. 
Titanfall was the reason many gamers broke open their piggy banks and bought an Xbox One. But according to Respawn Entertainment's CEO, the sequel won't be a Microsoft exclusive. 
The folks at Respawn Entertainment are celebrating Titanfall's one-year anniversary with free content. Right now, gamers can grab the game's entire DLC collection without spending a single dollar. 
Despite some massive budgets for a few of these titles, it didn't stop the games from tripping and falling on their face once they hit the market – this is despite the fact that just about every game on this list sold quite well. So here are the major games that failed to properly meet player expectations and disappoint greatly in 2014. 
Titanfall's Update #8 will be the biggest one yet, according to Respawn. The studio revealed that the update will contain some major features, including the first-ever co-op mode for the game. 
Respawn Entertainment is releasing the third, and potentially final, map pack for Titanfall today. The IMC Rising Pack provides three more battlefields for your mech and infantry fights. 
Titanfall will be adding a Black Market in a future update that lets players buy in-game items. It's not as evil as you think. 
New screenshots have surfaced for Respawn Entertainment's first-person shooter mech-shooter, Titanfall. The new screenshots feature a look at the new Dig Site map that will accompany the Export and Haven maps. 
The Xbox One is still young so its library is only a fraction of the size of Xbox 360's. There are still plenty of great games on the console, though.
