My G.I. Joe knowledge is spotty at best, so here I was thinking most of the characters looked liked people, running around in fatigues-- you know, like actual soldiers. But the newest characters to emerge online are the M.A.R.S. Troopers, and they look like they'd be right at home in the Star Wars universe, or even fending off Robocop.Hiss Tank, a website I'd previously never heard of, got their hands on the images, which seem to be part of some kind of promotional material for the film. The details on these characters are scant-- they "operate with supreme skill and extreme force," and are "aggressive and loyal" as well as officers of military strategy and espionage. All exciting words, sure, but still vague enough to give me no clue what's actually going on. The images themselves aren't really great, so we'll have to wait until some official photos come out to really know what's going on here.
