Just a few moments ago I published my reaction to a IMAX preview for the upcoming winter blockbuster Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol. I was told to hold my coverage of the event until 4:30pm PST, and at that time I could let everyone in the world know what I thought of the 20+ minutes of footage. But why 4:30pm PST on a Thursday afternoon? Because the second trailer for the Brad Bird film has just launched.

Starring Tom Cruise, who returns as master spy Ethan Hunt for the fourth time, Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton and Michael Nyqvist, the plot of the film sees the Impossible Mission Force shut down after Hunt and his team is framed for a terrorist bombing at the Kremlin that the Russians see as an act of war. With his entire team disavowed, the president initiates ghost protocol sending the agents underground not only find who is responsible for the bombing, but bring them to justice.
