It seems Sacha Baron Cohen is still filming his Bruno movie. You’d think they’d be done by now, but this week he was spotted in California at an anti-gay rally, protesting in support of re-outlawing gay marriage in the state.

One odd thing… Bruno look as as if he's toned it down. Cohen’s gay fashionista character traditionally dresses in outlandish, obviously gay attire. For the rally he appears to have attempted to go straight. Perhaps this figures into the plot of the film they’re cobbling together. My theory: this is the point in the film where Bruno attempts to become a straight man, and joins a rally to stop those damn homos or something. Makes sense. Sort of like the scene in Borat where our hero joins a church and tries to get help from Mr. Jesus.

According to The Sun, things turned ugly when people uncovered his identity, and Bruno was whisked away. See video of his abrupt departure below:
