G.I. Joe: Retaliation International Trailer Comments On Cobra Commander's New Mask

While I may be setting myself up for terrible disappointment, I am excited for the release of G.I. Joe: Retaliation. The cast is stacked, the writers are awesome, and the marketing for the film that we've seen thus far - including the theatrical trailer and the Super Bowl spot - has been utterly badass. Today those feelings have been bolstered by a new international trailer. While it doesn't show too much fresh footage, it's hard not to love the tiny details that are new.

Like I said, not a lot of new stuff, but I do continue to love the White Stripes remix and the comment by the President about Cobra Commander's mask does seem to be poking fun at the terrible mask from the first movie. If it can have that tone while also featuring a ton of ass-kicking and attitude, it should be a fun time in the theater.

Directed by Jon Chu, G.I. Joe: Retaliation stars Dwayne Johnson, Ray Park, Bruce Willis, Ray Stevenson, D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Adrianne Palicki, Elodie Yung, Jonathan Pryce, RZA, and Channing Tatum. Look for it when it arrives in theaters on June 29th and for more, head over to our Blend Film Database.
