International Trailer For The Thing Release Online

I feel somewhat strange about suggesting that people should watch uncensored trailers for the upcoming The Thing. While red band and uncensored previews always give the audience a clearer picture about tone and content, The Thing is a movie that relies on the audience not knowing what's going to happen next. If you know which characters are possessed by the alien and when they're going to attack, the suspense and drama gets sucked right out. What I'm trying to say is, be careful how you watch the new Russian trailer that was released earlier today.

Check it out:

Starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Joel Edgerton and Erik Christian Olsen, Matthijs van Heijningen Jr.'s The Thing is a prequel to the 1982 John Carpenter classic. When a strange creature is discovered buried in the ice of Antarctica, an American paleontologist (Winstead) is called down to investigate. Slowly but surely, however, she and the others at the base realize that what they found should have never been dug up. The movie is set to be released on October 14th.
