Ever since hordes of frat guys and soon-to-be-wed bro-dudes saw The Hangover, it wasn’t even a question of whether or not there’d be a sequel, everyone just assumed there would be. And how could there not be after the reception it got? Well thanks to those relentless spies over at TMZ, we’re getting our first look on set in Thailand as Ed Helms and Zack Galifianakis reprise their roles.

The pictures don’t reveal too much detail about the story, but it does show off a few aesthetic changes the characters have made so if you want to be shocked and awed by every little bit of this film, please turn away now.

As you can see below, the presence of Mike Tyson is still being felt as Helms’ Stu looks to have added a pretty serious decoration to the side of his face, and judging by the bruising around the edges, that ain’t no henna bullshit. That’s the real deal. Presumably that happens when the gang falls into another of their trademark blackout adventures, unlike the change Galifianakis has made. Alan simply traded his homeless head of hair for a more streamlined look...much more streamlined.

Set for release around Memorial Day of next year, these few images will most definitely not be the last we hear of The Hangover Part II. Scope them out below.
