It looks like The Joker may not be the only bad guy in Chris Nolan’s impending Batman Begins sequel. A new rumor being circulated by the guys over at Batman On Film indicates that Cillian Murphy may be back in The Dark Knight as The Scarecrow.
Batman Begins had multiple villains, so I guess it makes sense that The Dark Knight would too. I liked Cillian Murphy’s Scarecrow quite a lot, and always felt like he sort of got shortchanged in Begins anyway. if this is true, how he’ll fit into The Dark Knight is anyone’s guess. Hopefully this is more than just a cameo shot of him gibbering to himself in a cell at Arkham Asylum.
