Kristen Bell, Kristin Davis and Malin Akerman are set to co-star as halves of couples forced into therapy in Jon Favreau’s new flick, Couples Retreat. All three have been part of awesome TV shows (Veronica Mars, Sex and the City, and Entourage), have proven their great comedic timing, and are super attractive. Sounds like the casting director of the film is hot on the trail of a great comedy.

HR reports that Kristen Bell (Heroes), who recently displayed her comedy chops in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, is set to co-star as Jason Bateman’s wife. Kristin Davis (Sex and the City: The Movie) will be a part of a fictional marriage with Favreau. Malin Akerman (The Heartbreak Kid) will be hitched to Vince Vaughn. Those combos all sound like comedy gold. After Arrested Development I will follow Jason Bateman anywhere.

The movie will follow three couples who go on vacay to a couples retreat, duh. One of the couples is aware that it is a therapy centered resort but, the other two are unwittingly sucked into couples rehab. The flick, written by Favreau, will be directed by Peter Billingsley and will co-star Faizon Love.
