Look, I’m a fan of the Rush Hour franchise, I’ve had a lot of fun with it, and usually I’ll defend it. But there’s really no defending this.
The first teaser trailer for Rush Hour 3 has leaked out onto the net via a bunch of Russian websites, and it’s really terrible. I realize it’s just a teaser trailer, and as such doesn’t mean a whole lot. Still, it’s bad. We’re comparing Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan to the Nazis now? Is that a good idea? Worse, the singing clip with Tucker and Chan at the end is just completely shameless. It’s poorly executed, and Tucker looks like he’s dead behind the eyes. Is that all Rush Hour is? Jackie Chan/Chris Tucker karaoke hour?
