The Total Recall Trailer Has Arrived Online

We teased you with it last week when a 33 second preview arrived online, but today the wait is over and there's no more tease: the full first trailer for the Len Wiseman-directed Total Recall has arrived online.

Due out on August 3rd, the new take on Paul Verhoeven's contemporary sci-fi classic stars Colin Farrell, Bryan Cranston, Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale. You can watch the trailer below.

Based on the Philip K. Dick story "We Can Remember It For You Wholesale," Total Recall has Farrell playing Doug Quaid, a factory worker living in a future world where the two nationstates rule everything - Euromerica and New Shanghai - and a dictator named Vilos Cohaagen (Cranston) rules over all. Tired of his ordinary life, Quaid takes a trip into a company called Rekall, where they can implant vivid memories into your mind. When the system goes haywire, however, Quaid discovers that he may not just be an ordinary man, but a spy in disguise. But what side is he fighting for?

The new adaptation was written by Mark Bomback, who previously scripted Unstoppable, Race To Witch Mountain and Live Free or Die Hard. The cast also includes Bill Nighy, Ethan Hawke and John Cho. To learn more about the upcoming film, head over to our Blend Film Database.
