Alright, I'm softening just a little on The Wild. I still think it's a Madagascar rip off (and don't tell me that it went into production first, doesn't matter. Madgascar came out first, it wins) but it might be a kind of cute not utterly horrible rip off. Of course last year the third party CGI movie Disney released was Valient and by all accounts that was horrible, if not a rip off. I'd probably be wiser to assume The Wild will be the same, but I'm a sucker.

The hard working folks over at Disney have released a stack of new character cards/posters to promote the film. They've got them all standing in front of busy cityscapes posing, sometimes with fruit on their head.
