You'll Like These 5 Social Network Clips![]()
By now you’ve probably figured out that The Social Network is a must see, and maybe even one of the year’s best films. Let me confirm that, having just seen it, yeah it is. Expect a whole host of Oscar nominations for it this fall, and in particular I’m rooting for Justin Timberlake to get a nod. You’ll see a little of his performance as Napster founder Sean Parker, in the five new Social Network clips below.
Stick with me and I’ll walk you through them all. Mark Zuckerberg, played by Jesse Eiseneberg, is in the midst of building his first website success. It’s called FaceMash.com and when finished it’ll let college kids rank girls based on who is hotter. To make it happen though, he needs help from his friend Eduardo, played here by Andrew Garfield. Here Zuckerberg, already heavy into coding what would eventually become TheFacebook.com, is struck by a bolt of inspiration. The next time you check out someone’s relationship status, you’ll know where that idea came from: Meet the Winklevoss twins, old money Harvard frat boys who would later claim that Zuckerberg stole The Facebook idea from them. Here Mark Zuckerberg, in the midst of the Winklevoss twins’ lawsuit, explains why he thinks they’re suing him. Maybe he’s right. This is our first introduction to Sean Parker, played by Justin Timberlake, in the film. This clip also contains what is perhaps, the greatest ass on film in the year 2010. There’s even more of it, both the Stanford girl butt cheeks and Sean Parker, in The Social Network. The Social Network arrives in theaters October 1st. Check out our review right here and expect a lot more in-depth analysis of what is without a doubt one of the year’s best films, from us, in the weeks to come. |
