Watch Deadpool Show Up In This Very Honest Logan Trailer

Logan has not only cemented itself as one of 2017's best superhero movies, but it will be remembered as a highlight of the genre in the years to come. Still, even the third Wolverine movie isn't safe from being blasted in an Honest Trailer. To add a little extra firepower to the takedown, this video brought in Ryan Reynolds to reprise Deadpool, but it goes in a much different direction than when Wade Wilson showed up in last year's Honest Trailer of his own movie.

The folks over at Screen Junkies targeted Logan for their 200th Honest Trailer, kicking off by noting how Wolverine's greatest villains in this story aren't the likes of Sabretooth, Magneto and Silver Samurai, but coughing blood, fading eyesight, depression and plenty of ailments that afflict the elderly. And let's not forget what Professor X is suffering through. From there, the Logan Honest Trailer hits on points like how Boyd Holbrook is imitating Val Kilmer in Tombstone to play Donald Pierce and how Laura's mother, Gabriela Lopez, is the best cell phone documentarian of all time. But after a certain point, even the narrator admits that Logan is hard to make fun of, so he swiftly pulls out his phone, gives Deadpool a call and asks for some much-needed back up.

Wade Wilson had no problem ripping into his own movie last year, and since we won't get a Wolverine/Deadpool team-up movie, one would assume that he'd jump at the opportunity to make fun of Wolverine and anything remotely connected to Hugh Jackman. Well you'd be wrong! It turns out that he's a big fan of Logan, calling it a "fucking masterpiece" and threatening to set every VHS copy of Crash on fire if Hugh Jackman doesn't get an Oscar nomination. He even wants James Mangold to direct Old Man Deadpool in 2038, which sounds...unsettling. So unfortunately for the Honest Trailers narrator (or as he was saved on Deadpool's contact list, "Fat Betsy, don't pick up"), he's not getting bailed out by the Merc with the Mouth in this video.

Logan ranks at an impressive 92% among critics on Rotten Tomatoes, and some even call it one of the best superhero movies of all time But when even Deadpool refuses to make fun of it, that's when you know that something is truly special. The Logan Honest Trailer closed off with some more extra jabs, (like calling the movie The Last of Us), but most of us will agree that Logan was an excellent accomplishment for the X-Men franchise and a great sendoff for Hugh Jackman.

Logan is now available on Digital HD, Blu-ray and DVD. You can see Ryan Reynolds back as Wade Wilson on the big screen when Deadpool 2 hits theaters on June 1, 2018.
