Debbie Reynolds Hospitalized After Reaction To Medication

Hollywood legend Debbie Reynolds was taken to the hospital over the weekend. It’s unclear how long the eighty-year-old might be sidelined for, but if all goes according to plan, she should be out of the hospital by the end of the day today.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Reynolds was scheduled to make some upcoming personal appearances over the next few months. Despite initial speculation that she may cancel all of the already arranged dates, her management team has decided to take a wait and see approach. If her condition noticeably improves, she’ll fulfill all of her obligations. If it gets worse, she’ll obviously bail in order to protect her health.

At this point, doctors are pretty sure the sudden sickness was caused by a bad reaction to the Singin’ In The Rain star’s medication. It’s unclear if she changed brands or simply added a new prescription to her routine, but hopefully, whatever she’s been switched to will allow life to go back to normal. Reynolds has always been a woman who is at her best when she’s moving around, having fun and feeling unencumbered. I can't imagine being stuck in the hospital for the past few days has done much for her spirits.

Pop Blend’s sincerest thoughts go out to Reynolds during this time of need. Here’s to hoping she’s able to improve quickly and make as many of her previously scheduled appearances as possible.
