Fashion Mogul Vittorio Missoni Still Missing After Apparent Plane Crash
By Mack Rawden 2 years ago
World famous fashion mogul Vittorio Missoni is feared dead after a plane carrying him, his wife, two friends and two crew members went missing off the coast of Venezuela yesterday. A large search was begun almost immediately by the local government, but as of press time, no traces of the BN2 Islander have been discovered.
The fifty-eight-year-old fashion icon who, along with his siblings, pushed his parents’ company to incredible heights and yearly revenues surpassing $100 million was on vacation at the island resort of Los Roques when he and his traveling companions boarded a small plane en route to the airport near Caracas. The journey was supposed to take around a half an hour, but none of the travelers ever arrived.
According to The New York Times, the Missoni family was informed by the Venezuelan government that the plane went missing, but beyond that, they don’t have any details and are still hoping he might be found alive. Many members of the Missoni family have spent the past day at the family’s Italian villa and Vittorio’s sibling Luca has reportedly boarded a flight for Venezuela to help in any way he can.
Pop Blend’s sincerest thoughts go out to the entire Missoni family during this difficult time. The outlook doesn’t look great at this point, but with love and determination, they’ll all get through it, no matter what winds up happening.
