A certain former Prison Break star is set to make an appearance on House this season. From what I hear, House could probably use someone with prison-breaking experience, however that’s not what Wentworth Miller will be up to when he appears on the show. Spoilers ahead!
Yi will bring her own brand of awkward to House as a series regular next season. The actress, most known for her small role in Knocked Up and the documentary she both wrote and produced, Paper Heart, has been dabbling in TV roles lately with spots on Miss Guided and Love Bites. Her gig on House will be her first extensive TV role, however.
With Lisa Edelstein gone, there is a major opening in the cast of House, and the decision has been made as to who will fill the role. Will we be seeing another new face in the halls of Princeton Plainsboro this fall, or will there be a promotion from within? The word is out, and the seat behind Cuddy’s desk has got a new owner. Who will be handing out orders to Dr. House as the new Dean of Medicine?
Left with a big hole in the cast with the sudden departure of Lisa Edelstein, House producers have at least managed to bring in a new female regular - although not to replace Cuddy as Dr. House’s boss lady. The lovely Odette Annable, who recently appeared in the Fox comedy Breaking In will join the House cast this fall as a new regular, bring some much needed estrogen to the show.
With contract negotiations down to the wire, House’s Jesse Spencer announced via Twitter late last night that he will return to the show for the eighth season, quelling rumors that he would leave the show. The Fox series already lost an original cast member last month; Spencer won’t follow suit.
MTV’s Teen Wolf may have only aired a handful of episodes, but that’s apparently enough to earn it more than one Teen Choice nomination. Gossip Girl, Make It or Break It, Secret Life and iCarly are among the other shows that scored multiple nominations.
From this latest bit of House-related news, it would appear that the roller coaster ride that is the House and Cuddy relationship is coming to an end. Word is, Lisa Edelstein will not be returning to the Fox medical drama series next season.
If you’re a fan of Fox’s medical drama series House, there’s good news and bad news. The good news is, Fox announced that they’ve renewed the series for Season 8. The bad news is, there’s a chance the eighth season of the series will be it’s last.
The networks is still in the midst of negotiations to bring both programs back. Basically, that means the network is very interested, but the financials haven’t quite been worked out yet
I’d outline the rest for you, but I need to show the new intern’s Big C my Big Bang Theory. Legen—wait for it—dary
We’re at the midway point of August and while that might mean the countdown to cooler weather and the return to school or work has already begun for some, it also means we’re just a few weeks away from the start of the new TV season. Up ahead is the primetime schedule for the Fall 2010 season.
Is Joan of Arcadia’s Amber Tamblyn really old enough to be playing doctor roles? Apparently (I feel old) as Fox announced today that she’s set play a role in the next season of House.
If these nominations are any indication of what teens like, Gossip Girl, Glee and Jersey Shore are very popular amongst the under-twenties. Below are the TV-related nominations as listed by Fox.
