The long strange journey of former Chargers quarterback Ryan Leaf has taken another sad turn. The thirty-five-year-old was arrested Friday by Montana police for drug possession and burglary. Authorities are being decidedly mum on the particular facts of the case, possibly because Great Falls is Leaf’s hometown, but the accused has been released on bail.
Whitney’s former sister-in-law Leolah Brown went on Dr Drew a few hours after the toxicology report went public and blasted Ray J for providing Houston with drugs. Authorities have not said whether they have any idea who the pop star purchased the narcotics from, but apparently, Bobby Brown’s sister doesn’t need to the police to tell her what she’s already sure of. You can take a look at the interview below…
Houston’s history of drug abuse was a well-documented fact at the time of her death. She admitted in several interviews that she’d partied hard for extended periods of time. The abuse caused strain to her vocal cords and strain to her relationships, but a few years prior to her death, Houston seemed to be getting her act together.
The toxicology reports are finally back for Whitney Houston, and it seems the late singer had a mess of various drugs in her system when she passed. The test found traces of cocaine, marijuana, Xanax, Bendaryl and Flexeril, but apparently, the latter four didn’t play any significant roles in her undoing.
That latest incident went down in 2009, and it occurred less out of a desire to get high and more out of a desire to say he did it. The comedian’s biggest fans likely are already well aware of the tale since he’s been joking about it for years, but until now, he’s never spoke of the details in a formal setting.
A parent losing a child is always a devastating blow, but losing one at such a young age is even worse. We’ll never know what pushed Jesse to make the decisions he did, but like the aforementioned statement says, right now it’s best to just be grateful for the good times he shared. In addition to his parents Bobby and Nancy, Jesse also leaves behind two sisters, Tiffany and Anna, and a whole lot of other grieving family members.
A little over a day ago, reality television personality and aspiring singer Leslie Carter was found unconscious by family members. Authorities rushed to the scene, but by the time they arrived, nothing could be done. The twenty-five year old was pronounced dead shortly thereafter, and her family released a statement asking for privacy. Beyond that, not very much information was made public, but in the past few hours, some disturbing whispers have started making the rounds.
It’s been a crazy last couple days for Demi Moore. A 911 call was placed two nights ago by one of her friends, and the actress was taken to the hospital for treatment due to an unspecified problem. While in the facility, she reportedly decided to seek treatment, and her PR people released a statement saying she’d seek medical help for “exhaustion”.
It all sounds like some wild Hunter S. Thompson nonsense, which is a complete contrast to the amazing consistency he showed while on the air. Thankfully, Hammond has been getting his act together more recently. He delighted audiences with a one man play entitled Tru, and he’s recently been working on Funny Or Die. May sobriety become a permanent fixture in his life.
No one suddenly wakes up to a sea of problems. Matt Hardy's erratic behavior slowly pushed him closer to the ledge and then the bottom suddenly dropped out, much to the horror of many who never saw it coming. Sometimes though, the consequences all need to hit you at once in order to realize you need to start climbing your way back up. The events of the past month seem to have affected Matt Hardy in such a way, and he took to YouTube to post an honest and sad video
What is known is despite getting her addiction to crack and other hard drugs under control, the alcohol was the demon that ultimately won out. Amy Winehouse's death saddened many but shocked few, as her addiction problems were cemented in infamy through the media and her music, most famously in her hit song "Rehab."
In a statement addressing the toxicology results, the Winehouse family thanked the police and the investigators for all their hard work and said they’re awaiting the results from a forthcoming inquest. Whenever a mysterious death occurs in Britain, the state holds an official inquest to figure out what may have happened
Fans excited about Outkast recombining to record new songs may need to table that joy. Big Boi, the less flashy, short-haired half of arguably the greatest music duo of the last two decades was arrested earlier this afternoon on drug charges. He was reportedly disembarking from a cruise ship when drug-sniffing dogs alerted authorities. Customs officials checked his bags and found ecstasy pills
If these sober predictions have merit, Winehouse's death may prove even more tragic. It's always worse to see someone pass running in a healthy direction than indulging his or her old ways. We really have no way of knowing the truth though until those toxicology reports come back sometime in the next three weeks
