Is Jerry Seinfeld Set To Appear On Louie For Season 3?
Last year, HBO aired a TV special which featured Ricky Gervais, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld and Louis CK doing what they do best, being funny. For those of us who might have wondered what it would be like to see these four comedians sitting in a room just talking about their craft, Talking Funny brought the scenario to life. While that was just a one-episode special, it seems they still talk to one another, as evidenced by what's being reported about the upcoming season of Louie.
In less than a month, Louis CK's comedy series Louie will return for its third season and at some point, we may be seeing Jerry Seinfeld appear on the show. According to Hollywood.com, Chris Rock was reportedly at a junket for Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted when he took a call from Jerry Seinfeld, who happened to mention that he was busy at work on the set of Louie. No further details were mentioned, but this is certainly great news for the already much-anticipated comedy.
As the site points out, Louie's known to play host to various guest stars, Ricky Gervais and Chris Rock among them. Seinfeld would be the last of the four Talking Funny comedians to make an appearance on the series, which - much like Seinfeld - has Louis CK playing a fictional version of himself, with his stand-up comedy setting the tone for the plot of the series. It should be interesting to see what kind of role Jerry Seinfeld plays, assuming we'll see him at some point during Season 3. Will he be himself in the show, or should we expect an appearance similar to that of Ricky Gervais. Watch that hilarious scene below...
Louie returns for Season 3 on June 28 on FX.
