I hate to admit that I like The Apprentice, but I do. My man and I have watched nearly every episode of every season. It’s sad, but it’s true. I wanted to strangle Omarosa, and I swear I said I would never watch again after Trace Adkins lost, but it’s time for the new season, and I am excited.

Okay, I was excited until I saw who was going to be on it. Apparently, back in the fall, “Trump insisted the cast was bigger, better, hotter than ever.” , but yeah, he was lying. Straight up lying.

Here’s the good news – Jesse James will be on the show. He’s my early favorite for a win. Like Sandra Bullock, I see something fun and good in James, though it’s clearly buried under a rough exterior.

And the bad news – We get to witness Dennis Rodman, Joan & Melissa Rivers, Andrew Dice Clay, Scott Hamilton, Brian McKnight, Tom Green, “poker champ Annie Duke, pro golfer Natalie Gulbis, Deal or No Deal model Claudia Jordan, singer Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins… Clint Black, TV personality Khloe Kardashian and former "Baywatch" babe Brande Roderick” remind us why they aren’t that famous any more.

Wow, I can’t wait. There had to be some better choices than this, right? Oh, Herschel Walker (he’s a former NFL player) shouldn’t be too bad to watch. But, come on! Tom Green? Joan AND Melissa Rivers? As if one of them isn’t bad enough? Holy Crap!

According to Yahoo News , “The 16 celebrities will not be vying for a job with Trump, as in past civilian "Apprentice" seasons, but instead will compete in business-oriented tasks around Manhattan to raise money for their favorite charities.”

Well, that’s all good and well, but if Trump can’t attract better talent, I’d say this may be the last season for The Apprentice.
