Grey's Anatomy Recap: Holidaze

The best gifts come in surprise packages... Meredith knows it, but she gets a great reminder this week. Last week Mer caught a peek of the Chief drowning his sorrows in club soda (read: vodka) -- the Chief of course can't let this get out. This week's episode is a non-stop holiday extravaganza.

Desperate Housewives Recap: The Coffee Cup

Drea de Matteo is great, but Angie Bolen gets on my nerves. But I love her to death this week when she gives Nick total crap for his indiscretions. When Julie tries to make small talk, Angie reminds her that when you bang someone’s husband, you don’t do chit-chat. You avoid eye contact, you blush, and you buy them a cappuccino.

Grey's Anatomy Recap/Reaction: New History

I’m pretty sick of Izzie and her whining. Yeah, yeah, she lost Denny, she had cancer, she got fired. Deal with it. I’m totally sick of everyone talking about her all the time, and even though her return this week was to help someone who really needed it, I could have done without so much of her. That’s not to say that she didn’t need to wrap some things up – but seriously, it’s just getting old.

Grey's Anatomy Recap: Invest in Love

Kids are great. I’ve got three myself, and I wouldn’t trade them for the world. When you have sick kids, or are around sick kids, it’s quite amazing how resilient they are. They don’t ever question whether they will get better – it’s just WHEN they will get better. This week’s show is absolutely full of kids, and they are all sick, because we are at Seattle Grace after all.

Desperate Housewives Recap: Don't Walk on the Grass

I’m not sure what word is okay – but the word “lover” has always seemed creepy and outdated to me. But this is exactly the word that Bree throws all over the place about Carl. Ick.

Grey's Anatomy Recap: Give Peace a Chance

What a lovely treat! I love Meredith, but it was nice to hear a different voice opening the show this week. Derrick tells us that most people become surgeons because they enjoy the high, the god-like power it gives them – but not him. He did it because of the quiet of the surgical room.

Grey's Anatomy Recap - I Saw What I Saw

I’m a total fan of Grey’s Anatomy, but I’ve got to admit it’s starting to bore me a little. I was also a total fan of ER, but grew weary after 3 seasons of trauma. Different injuries, same stories every week. This week changes that all up with GA.

Desperate Housewives Recap: The God-Why-Don't-You-Love-Me Blues

Last night, I was sitting in LaGuardia airport waiting for the last flight to Detroit after a great weekend working in NYC. The flight was late – which made me miss the last flight out of Detroit to Fort Wayne, Indiana. So, while I was supposed to be watching Desperate Housewives, I was instead catching up with my fabulous husband

Desperate Housewives Recap: Never Judge a Lady by Her Lover

What do you do when your neighbor defends the kid you are pretty sure attacked your daughter? I know what I’d probably do – but then I’d be needing a lawyer myself! I’m no Susan fan, but I’m feeling especially close to her dilemma right now.

Grey's Anatomy Recap - Tainted Obligation

First off, I think we should all acknowledge that there is no way that Izzie’s hair would be this long at this point. That being said, the intro to this episode was absolutely classic. I struggle daily with all of the obligations I have every day – for those of you who don’t know, I’m a wife, mom, writer, entrepreneur and I’m way in debt to credit cards.

Desperate Housewives Recap: Being Alive

In 5 seasons of Desperate Housewives, there’s always been one lady on Wisteria Lane who didn’t have all the drama, and romance of all the others. Good ole’ Mrs. McCluskey. She’s always been the rock that Lynette leaned on for babysitting – and Edie leaned on for motherly support.

Grey's Anatomy Recap: I Always Feel Like Somebody's Watchin' Me

Holy Wig! When Izzie shows up with her peach fuzz head covered in a red Stepford Wives wig, everyone has a hard time not looking at it. She’s still a cancer patient, but she knows that her job is on the line just like everyone else’s.

Desperate Housewives Recap: Nice Is Different Than Good

It’s time for Desperate Housewives to start again, and who knows where this season is going to take us! At the end of last season, Susan & Mike were making out after he saved her, Tom & Lynette found out they were having twins, Gaby & Carlos had his teenage cousin living with them, Carl & Bree were about to engage in an affair

Grey's Anatomy Recap: Good Morning; Goodbye

It is unbelievable to me that it is time for a new season of Grey’s Anatomy. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been waiting for this, but this was one heckuva fast summer, and I can’t believe it’s here already.

TV Recap: Desperate Housewives

Desperate Housewives is really one of my favorite shows, and it’s been overshadowed lately by my recaps for Celebrity Apprentice. I’ve not been getting them both done, because for some crazy reason I decided to try to stop drinking caffeine, and it’s been limiting my work time.

TV Recap: Celebrity Apprentice Finale

It’s time for the last show of Celebrity Apprentice. Can I get a Hell Yeah? I am so ready for this show to be over. I am so irritated that Joan Rivers is in the final two. And, completely irritated that Melissa came back to be on her mom’s team. That bi-otch does not deserve any more TV time on this program.

TV Recap: Celebrity Apprentice - Chicken Of The Sea

What a shock – Joan decided to come back. The first 8 minutes of the show are devoted to what a couple of psychos Melissa and Joan are, and how no one thinks Joan will come back.

TV Recap - Celebrity Apprentice - Sports Illustrated

It’s no secret that I am straight up tired of this show – but the ending of tonight’s episode almost made it all worth it. The competition tonight involved a magazine spread for Sports Illustrated with the Knicks’ David Lee and Right Guard deodorant.

TV Recap: Celebrity Apprentice - Charity Auction

Yeah, it’s another week of Celebrity Apprentice. I’m so bored with this show, it’s ridiculous. I’m starting to feel like this is two hours of my life every week that I’m not going to ever get back.

TV Recap: Desperate Housewives - Look Into Their Eyes And You See What They Know

Alright, it’s official. Edie is D-E-A-D. She began the show alive, but less than 1 minute in, she was gone. With her neighbors gathered round her, she took her last breath. Dave had her cremated, and since her son didn’t know him, he asked the ladies of Wisteria Lane to deliver her ashes, and the news that she was dead.
