Duke Nuking As Early As Fall 2008?

Urban legends go back hundreds of years, like the tale of the woman who was followed in her car all the way home by a sinister-looking truck flashing it’s high beams and, as we all know, that driver was just trying to warn her of the man in her back seat wielding a knife. Or how about the story of the kid who mixed Pop Rocks and Pepsi? Or the woman who woke up in a tub full of ice sans both kidneys?

GTA Almost Hits The Big Screen

Remember the very first time you stepped foot in Liberty City? No, not from a bird’s eye perspective full of sprites and bright colors but the first time you took control of The Guy from Grand Theft Auto III and were engulfed in the incredibly cinematic world that existed in front of you? Well apparently there was much more planned for the series than just living the sandbox genre life of The Guy, Tommy Vercetti of Vice City or Carl “CJ” Johnson of San Andreas—it was set to become a feature film.

The Gold For The Club

The game, which utilizes a gameplay system that combines equal parts racer and shooter, was developed by Project Gotham Racing helmers, Bizarre Creations—meaning that if the they somehow manage to make the third-person elements as top-notch as their previous titles, gamers are in for one hell of a high-octane action fest.

All this without having to strain your eyes against those nauseatingly grainy video clips in front of that old fossil of a PC!

That maybe it’s time to hang up the controllers and pick up a football? Or maybe get a job? Soul Calibur And Star Wars Collide

Future winner of the, “Um, Why?” Award is news from 1.up.com that both Darth Vader and Yoda from Star Wars fame are going to be featured fighters in Soul Calibur IV. I’d like to say that this comes as shocking news, but how can I possibly say that when only a couple of years ago, I had Ivy facing off against Spawn on my black and green Xbox?

No word on whether on not this will become an option in the future.
