Since being launched a few years back by Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, and Chris Henchy, has generated more than its share of ripples through the pop culture landscape. We got the star-packed "Ballad of G.I. Joe", which managed to be both hilarious and more respectful of the source material than the actual feature film. We got Mad Men's Jon Hamm brilliantly portraying Lex Luthor in a plea for a government bailout of LexCorp. We even got the long-awaited Eva Mendes sex tape.

After success like that, it was only a matter of time until someone adapted the FunnyOrDie concept into a far less efficient format. Hence, Funny or Die Presents: the HBO TV series. Basically expanding or compiling skit concepts from the website along with new ideas, the show has thus far run for a single 12-episode season. Like the website that spawned it, the show is packed with familiar faces, including such luminaries as Will Ferrell, David Spade, John C. Reilly, Don Cheadle, Zooey Deschanel, Fred Willard, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis. You can pick the set up January 11th for a MSRP of $29.98. I recommend giving it a chance based solely on the brilliance of "Drunk History." Or you could, you know, just go to the website.
