Earlier this year Mack Rawden
opined that you should watch
Crazy Heart once every five years, owing largely if not entirely to Jeff Bridges' Academy Award-winning performance. Many of us still haven't seen the flick even once, so consider this a reminder that it's hitting DVD and Blu-ray next Tuesday. Seems like a perfect time to discover whether it's worth returning to five years hence.
Bridges plays faded, hard-drinking country singer Bad Blake. With his best years seemingly behind him, he might just find redemption and maybe even a chance for a comeback after he meets Jean (Maggie Gyllenhaal, also nominated for an Oscar for her role), a journalist sent to discover "the man behind the music." Here's the playlist of special features.
