Telltale Games have been keeping busy lately. The company recently revealed the new Batman: The Telltale Series and now they've revealed what they have planned for The Walking Dead Season 3. The new teaser trailer has gone live during E3 and you can check it out for yourself.

Rely on Horror caught wind of the new teaser trailer, which shows a zombie wobbling through an alleyway before happening upon a body lying by a fiery car. The zombie starts chowing down on the meaty flesh of someone who was previously alive but isn't anymore. The zombie doesn't get to enjoy its meal for long before Clementine puts a bullet right through its head. It's her last bullet.

Clementine is given a magazine with a full clip to refill her empty pistol. The young male who gives her the magazine looks to be an older teen or a young adult, sporting a tattoo on his neck and what appears to be a baseball shirt. He's wielding a 12 gauge shotgun and appears to be working with Clementine to track down someone... or someones.

Details on the story are not revealed and exactly what Clementine is doing out there with that young but buff fella will remain a secret until the game gets closer to release this fall. We do know that the young buck tagging alongside Clementine will be playable.

According to Rely on Horror, the third season of The Walking Dead will focus on the events happening within the timeline of Robert Kirkman's graphic novel of The Walking Dead.

This particular Telltale series is what really put the company on the map. The first season, starring Lee Everett and Clementine was a heartbreaking and emotionally devastating ride. The end of the season was tragic no matter how you cut the custard, but it setup an equally frightening journey for Clementine, as she had to brave the wild mostly on her own and against some of the most harrowing things a child could encounter while out on her own.

The second season of The Walking Dead introduced more characters and also killed off plenty more. At this point we're ready to take the next step in the series and see what else Telltale will have to explore for the character and the story in the third season.

Telltale is utilizing their newest game engine for Batman: The Telltale Series so it's also likely that Telltale is using the new engine for the third season of The Walking Dead as well. They didn't exactly say what the new engine entails, but it's likely that improved lighting, animations and visual effects are the order of the day.

Telltale will definitely have their hands full this year. With the Batman title due this summer and The Walking Dead due this fall.

Expect to see and hear more about this game throughout E3 and gain access to a lot more media content leading up to its launch later this year.
