Subscribe To Sega Dreamcast Games Coming To Xbox Live, PSN This Fall Updates
The very first system in the new generation of gaming following the PSOne era was the Sega Dreamcast. It failed miserably because anyone could pop in a burned game and play it without any holdbacks. Still, the system managed to gather a loyal following and despite being the last home console Sega would produce gamers the world around fell in love with some of its exclusives. Well, Sega has announced that those exclusive Dreamcast games from more than a decade ago will be available this fall on Xbox Live.

Haruki Satomi, VP of Digital Business at SEGA of America and SEGA Europe commented in the press release, stating…
“The Dreamcast is fondly remembered by a large community of dedicated fans as a console that was ahead of its time in terms of graphics, quality and online gaming” … “There are few things that are more requested from us than making Dreamcast classics available for download in today’s digital market place. We’re very excited to begin offering gamers our beloved Dreamcast titles again on the current console systems.”

The first set of games that will be available for XBL from the Dreamcast’s heyday includes Crazy Taxi and the original Sonic Adventure. The Dreamcast had more than 650 titles and Sega will successively bring the system’s library onto the Xbox 360’s and PS3’s online arcade platforms.
