This weekend Rocksteady Studios revealed that they've got more downloadable content up their sleeve for Batman: Arkham City. They plan to release a new DLC pack toward the end of December.

"Brand new DLC coming December 20th with all new Batcave. Jokers carnival and the iceberg lounge also available to download then!" tweeted Rocksteady on Saturday.

Joker's Carnival and Iceberg Lounge are challenge maps that only select gamers currently have access to. Carnival is only available to folks who reserved a copy through GameStop. Iceberg Lounge, meanwhile, is part of the Collector's Edition of Arkham.

Presumably the Batcave is another challenge map - which, by the way, are standalone levels that test players' stealth or hand-to-hand combat skills. All of the DLC released for Arkham so far has focused on challenge maps so this Batcave DLC will continue the trend. It's probably much simpler to create these self-contained bits of extra content rather than extend the single-player campaign.
