E3 2007: Turok Roars Back With Xbox 360/PS3 Trailer
We’ve been telling you how cool the new Turok game is. A lot of people are hung up on the idea that it’s as awful as the later iterations (the last game on the N64 was a precursor to the unplayably bad PS2/Xbox/Gamecube versions). But Buena Vista is redeeming the Turok name and there’s no better way to start than with an E3 trailer that kicks major butt.
The trailer is of an early in-game stage and I might warn younger viewers that it gets pretty violent (in a really cool way, of course). One thing to note about the game is that it looks really nice – it’s come along in a fashionably eye-flattering way, and that’s definitely not a bad thing. The final game will feature full use of vehicles, large open areas in which players can use the enemy to fight the enemy, and some large freaking dinosaurs. Because, what would a Turok game be without dinos? Exactly my point.
