Punchers Impact and Mindscape have signed a multi-platform licensing deal to use Trinigy's Vision Engine for the upcoming, undisclosed action game that is scheduled for release on XBL and PSN.

According to Guillaume Descamps, studio director and executive producer at Punchers Impact…
“We decided on the Vision Engine because of its high performance cross-platform graphics abilities and its flexible engine architecture,” … “Plus, the support we’ve already received from Trinigy has been superb.”

Vision Engine is new-gen tech so the game is obviously designed to be a high-end XBLA/PSN title, although I’m curious if it’ll be anything like a similar sounding title, Scivelation, which will run on the Unreal Engine 3.

For gamers who may not be familiar with the Vision Engine you can see it in action with the Gears of War-esque MMO action game, Dizzel, which looks promising to say the least.

We’ll be sure to keep you posted on any new updates regarding the game. For more info be sure to visit the Official Website.
