Much like fellow Xbox 360 exclusive Gears of War 3, Forza Motorsport 4 will allow players to buy a Season Pass for downloadable content. The Season Pass will give players access to all six DLC packs planned for the next year.
The Pass can be purchased for $29.99 USD (or €21.74) starting October 11th. It'll be available through Xbox Live or select retailers like Best Buy and GameStop. While players will still have the option of purchasing DLC on an individual basis, it's said to be 30% cheaper to grab the Season Pass. That calculation, of course, assumes that you plan to buy all six downloadable content packs individually.
The first DLC pack for Forza 4 is the American Muscle Car Pack. Available on day one, it adds the following vehicles to the game:
- 1965 Pontiac GTO
- 1968 Pontiac Firebird
- 1970 Buick GSX
- 1970 Dodge Cornet Super Bee
- 1966 Chevrolet Nova SS
- 1969 Shelby GT500 428CJ
- 1971 Plymouth GTX 426 Hemi
- 1967 Dodge Cornet W023
- 1968 Dodge Dart HEMI Super Stock
- 1964 Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt
In other Forza 4 news, Turn 10 confirmed today that the Indianapolis Motor Speedway will be included in the game. The Speedway, if you're not aware, is home to the Indianapolis 500. The Brickyard, Pagoda building, and Gasoline Alley have all been carefully recreated. Turn 10 plans to release a "making of" video for this track. To tide you over, they sent out a few screenshots of the Speedway. Check them out below, along with images and a trailer for the Muscle Car Pack.
