Due out this holiday season exclusively for Microsoft's next generation console, Forza Motorsport 5 is aiming to be the pinnacle of next-gen racing nascence, and was announced today amongst the flurry of media content surrounding Microsoft's revelation of the Xbox One, a next-generation home media device.
The Xbox One or XB1, will be launching with more than a dozen games, many of which will be brand new IP and exclusive to Microsoft's home entertainment media device. During the event Turn 10's Forza Motorsport grabbed the spotlight briefly with the pre-rendered sequence that you can view above.
I can't say much about the game because there's not much to talk about. Gameplay details, features and options were left completely off the block. We can only expect to see and learn more at E3. However, what we do know is that there will be a strong social interactivity focus on this year's outing, giving gamers more ways to connect and stay connected with friends, family, strangers and even that guy who likes flashing random people over Skype. .
Forza Motorsport 5 will have some bit of momentum for it going into E3 and we can expect to learn more in a few week's time. For now you can look over the stats of the Xbox One to see if it suits your liking. On the upside, at least it doesn't completely ban used games or feature always-on.
