If you're a fan of KontrolFreek's analog thumb extenders, you'll love this bit of news here. The company recently announced that they have partnered with Best Buy and now have their analog extenders and controller-precision enhancers available on the store shelves of local stores across the nation.

The line-up of devices available on store shelves will include the FPS Freek and the KontrolFreek Ultra, two of the best selling products in the company's line-up.

Ashish Mistry, CEO of KontrolFreek commented about the partnership, saying...
“Since inception, KontrolFreek has built an impressive grassroots fan base, almost entirely from a direct-to-consumer, online-only presence,”... “Best Buy is a fantastic retail leader to continue KontrolFreek’s growth trajectory, expand our sales channels and offer even more gamers the competitive advantage that KontrolFreek products bring to the game experience.”

Best Buy customers will be able to get their hands on an exclusive retail package called the GamerPack bundle, which pairs the KontrolFreek Ultra with the FPS Freek Vortex or the FPS Freek CQC Signature.

Both packs will carry a $21.99 price tag, enabling gamers to utilize the new extenders on their PlayStation or Xbox controllers with added precision and aiming focus when playing first or third-person shooters.

Personally? I no longer use a controller without an FPS Freek extender attached, and have basically made sure each of the controllers has one, because it makes a world of difference when playing the game and getting an extra edge of precision aiming out of the gameplay experience.

The analog extenders basically snap over the standard left or right analog sticks of the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 or PS4 controllers. The added height adds slightly more sensitivity and range to the way the analogs react to thumb controls, giving gamers a necessary boost in just how precise they can execute movements with the controller.

It may sound gimmicky, but the KontrolFreek accessories actually work, and they hold up surprisingly well over the years, as I've never had to replace one or worry about the parts wearing down. In fact, on one of my Xbox 360 controllers the analog stick rubber padding has store up but not the FPS Freek attached to the analog. Quality design right there.

Chris Koller, Vice President of Gaming at Best Buy also chimed in on the news, offering this tidbit about the new deal...
“Best Buy is THE destination for gamers across the country, who know that whether it be new hardware, games, or accessories that Best Buy is their one-stop shop,” … “KontrolFreek has proven its appeal for gamers across genres and it’s a great addition to our gaming selection as the holiday season approaches.”

The controller extenders are available now at more than 1,000 Best Buy locations across the nation. You can pick up the packs from a local store, or you can order them from online at BestBuy.com. The accessories from KontrolFreek are also still available from the company's official website.
