BioWare's online store is selling action figures of several Mass Effect 3 characters. If the promise of a 6.75" tall Commander Shepard isn't enough to lure you in, note that you can also get ME3 DLC with each purchase.
"This product contains a code that can be redeemed for a downloadable content pack for Mass Effect 3 multi-player," reads the BioWare Store blurb. "It is slightly randomized during the registration and could include powerful new weapons and new characters. The pack could also include character boosters, weapon modifications, and weapon upgrades to make your multi-player squad stronger."
Note, however, that this bonus DLC is only for the Xbox 360 and PC. There's no mention of why the PS3 won't get this content. I suspect everyone will blame Microsoft, though.
Individual action figures cost $20, while four-packs cost $75. It's probably not worth it to buy them if you only want the DLC, but hey, your money. I've learned long ago not to underestimate the craziness of fellow gamers.
ME3's multiplayer is a series of four-player co-op missions. Playing through these missions can affect the outcome of your single-player campaign. However, the multiplayer and single-player are otherwise completely separate experiences. Don't expect this bonus co-op DLC to carry over to the campaign at all.
BioWare expects these figures to start shipping in April or May.
