Kojima Productions and developer Platinum Games have released a live action teaser for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, pointing towards a reveal for something mysterious next week.

The video's description reads, "Corrupted transmission incoming from operative’s implant. Data integrity compromised. Recovery initializing on 4/30/12". It points viewers towards the game's official website which features a countdown to Monday.

The game's development has had some difficulties with Hideo Kojima once stating it could have been canned. However, publisher Konami agreed a deal with Platinum Games, who is the studio behind OTT shooter Vanquish. Following the switch at the development helm, Platinum re-wrote the entire script for the title in a mere two months.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, a hack-and-slash spin-off for Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid series, is currently undated but it's expected to receive a solid release date this E3, where it'll playable for the first time.
